Client Case Study – St Aidans Anglican Girls School
St Aidan’s has been competing in the Queensland Girls’ Secondary Schools Sports Association Inc (QGSSSA) since 1939. Their sports uniforms were in serious need of an update, especially when compared to the uniforms of the other schools in the Association.
After seeing the large selection of garments and products we offer at Red Oak, they decided to re-design the sport uniforms across the whole school, from netball to tennis. We started with a basic template that was shown on one of our many website examples. The school logo and colours were then added in to create a completely custom design.
We use the sublimation printing process so the colour is consistent between sports and orders. This method is ideal for a school uniform or as in this case, performance sportswear as it is fade resistant, durable and doesn’t affect the comfort of the fabric.
At Red Oak, the comfort and performance of our garments in a high priority so we always include any numbers or player names as part of the design. We never heat press them on afterwards, as these can peal and crack and are less comfortable to wear.
